Similarities and differences between email and the postal service!


Electronic mail commonly known as Email is a direct messages delivered electronically within seconds. Emails can be sent using desktop, laptop, phone, and I-pad/Surface. You can send and receive pictures, music, video, and even gift cards in an instant. Emailing is commonly used internationally due to its convenience. You can send an email from any place at any time in an instant as long as there is internet connection. Postal Service is a service provided by the U.S. to distribute letters and packages in a physical form. The most popular postal services are USPS (United State Postal Service), UPS (United Parcel Service), and FedEx (Federal Express). It has been around for the past 238 years using trucks, trains, airplanes, and ships to transport mail.

Similarities:
·             Both require address/ from and to
·             Mailbox
·             Password and Keys to enter mail
·             Junk Mail
·             Both require a destination

Differences:
·             Hand write letters unlike emails/
·             Send letter as titled “Mom”
·             Email is free
·             Postal services require fees and stamps
·             Can’t send package through email

·             Email is instant, postal service require 24 hour or longer
